How to resolve a Chart of Accounts balance does not match ledger balance Bison Sync failure

To resolve sync issues associated with an email like the following:

  1. Close and open the company file in QuickBooks, to refresh the account balances.
  2. Open the chart of accounts in QuickBooks for the account(s) listed in the Details section of the email and take note of the balance.
  3. Double click on the balance to open the ledger.
  4. Compare the total in the ledger to the balance in the chart of accounts for these accounts.
  5. If the total in the ledger equals the balance in the chart of accounts, perform another sync. If this does not fix the mismatch, you may need to run a Full Force sync.
  6. If the total in the ledger and the balance in the chart of accounts do not match, we recommend running a QuickBooks Verify and Rebuild on the company file, then running another sync. If this does not fix the mismatch, you may need to run a Full Force sync.
