How to resolve a Chart of Accounts balance does not match ledger balance Bison Sync failure
To resolve sync issues associated with an email like the following:
- Close and open the company file in QuickBooks, to refresh the account balances.
- Open the chart of accounts in QuickBooks for the account(s) listed in the Details section of the email and take note of the balance.
- Double click on the balance to open the ledger.
- Compare the total in the ledger to the balance in the chart of accounts for these accounts.
- If the total in the ledger equals the balance in the chart of accounts, perform another sync. If this does not fix the mismatch, you may need to run a Full Force sync.
- If the total in the ledger and the balance in the chart of accounts do not match, we recommend running a QuickBooks Verify and Rebuild on the company file, then running another sync. If this does not fix the mismatch, you may need to run a Full Force sync.
